What are CVD diamonds?
Chemical vapour deposition technique to make a diamond mimic. A small chip of natural diamond is placed in a vaccume chamber and then the chamber is filled with carbon containing gas. It is then heated to high temperatures to create a process of wrapping carbon in the molecular structure of diamond around the seed diamond chip placed inside it.
